In September 2022 The local Iissan group marched from the Yvonne Memorial park park to the Ingersoll Creative Centre in Victoria Park, For Truth and Reconciliation. The Centre also hosted the event including a public exhibit of indigenous artwork, all created by indigenous artists.
Just trying to keep busy, I covered the walk and the event, at the Arts Centre, since my wife Barbara was involved with the group. The images from that event were donated to the Iisan group for their use on Facebook and for promotional media.
