Improve Your Photography- Photo Class

I held a photo class in December to provide “Next Level” instruction to photographers who had covered the “Basics Course”. With the emphasis on improving techniques, we discussed how to improve on the “beginners” lessons learned previously and actually start to use the techniques to have some fun with photography.

What better way to gain experience experimenting with shutters and lens, than to combine the various manual settings in order to produce a unique perspective of Christmas lights in Victoria Park.

The air was clear but cold, and along with my sturdy tripod and zoom lens. I got to wear some special gloves that allowed my fingers to stay warm while carrying equipment but had special peel back forefinger and thumb flaps when fingertip control was needed to change a dial on the camera.
